The Aviary Kaftan belongs to the latter — an ivory viscose canvas bordered in deep navy, where a hand-embroidered crane takes flight through silver zari and hand-worked florals. It is the kind of embroidery that asks to be noticed slowly: from the sweep of the sleeve, to the quiet magenta line tracing the neckline, to the scattered botanicals that drift across the body like an afterthought — deliberate, but never loud.
Viscose was chosen for a reason. It falls the way silk should, without silk's weight — cool against the skin, fluid through movement, letting the embroidery catch light rather than fight for it. Every border is hand and machine embroidered in-house, finished with sequins and dabka work along each edge. No two panels are rushed.
